Do you know this Graf Spee crew member?

I am looking for information about this Graf Spee crew member, do you know him? This is From E Dick's photos taken in 1938. He attended the same academy as Mr Dick's father. I was told that Mr Dick does not have information about the persons in this photo.

He was not interned with the crew. he was with a 1/2 dozen or so crew members that managed to escape and stay behind.  

I was told he might have been a gunnery officer and first name may have been Ervin. He may have been wounded.
